Sheriff’s Sales may be ordered by the Court in a variety of cases. While the related court case and documents are maintained by the Hancock County Circuit Clerk’s Office, the Circuit Clerk’s Office does not schedule, conduct, or manage Sheriff’s Sales.

The Circuit Clerk’s Office maintains the official court record for cases filed in Hancock County. Our office can assist with locating publicly available court case information and documents. However, Circuit Clerk staff cannot provide information regarding bidding, purchasing property, payment requirements, or other aspects of the Sheriff’s Sale process.
